Intern

Life can be overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating stress, anxiety, depression, or major life changes. You don’t have to go through it alone. I offer a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where you can explore your emotions, gain clarity, and develop strategies to move forward. I believe everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered, and I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen and valued.

Hello, my name is Tara. I am currently a counseling intern, and I feel honored to support individuals on their path toward healing and growth. I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, and feel deeply connected to this community. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my blended family—my husband and I have five wonderful children between us. These personal experiences have helped shape my understanding of the complexities of family life, transitions, and resilience.

Tara's Approach

I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling, meeting you where you are and honoring your unique story. I believe therapy is a safe space to explore your feelings without judgment and to build practical skills that support your mental and emotional well-being. I draw from person-centered and strengths-based approaches, focusing on empowering you to find clarity, resilience, and healing. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with an emphasis on creating a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued.
