Monica Alewine

LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My name is Monica Alewine and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with families and individuals in many capacities for over 20 years, and as a Mental Health Therapist since 2017. I love to have fun in everything I do whether it is work or play. My favorite activities are arts and crafts, board games, being in nature and hanging out with my family. I’m also obsessed with my little princess dog Zoey.

Monica's Approach

During a typical session, you can expect a confidential, dedicated time where I hope you feel comfortable and fully supported in sharing vulnerabilities. I have a fairly gentle and strengths based approach for the most part but am not afraid to confront areas of growth I notice within my clients. I will provide opportunities to expand the lens in which you view yourself and the world as well as encourage intentional self care practices. I consider myself to be trauma informed, culturally humble and often will use humor to connect. I utilize CBT, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems and Psychoeducation to name a few.
