Hi, my name is Johnell. I am currently a student intern working towards my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. We all have a story to tell and sometimes there can be some rough chapters along the way. I value meeting people where they are at and offer to walk along side clients on their own mental health journey. I have a background in fine art and enjoy painting and being outside whenever I can.
Johnell's Approach
I primarily use a humanistic and person-centered approach. I also pull from a variety of other theories and modalities to fit each individual clients needs.

I am currently a student intern on my way to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have also been the Intake Lead here at Arise for over two years.
Education
Bachelors degree from Drury University with a double major in Fine Art and Psychology and a minor in Community Health Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
