Heather Hodel, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Oftentimes getting started with therapy or even reading a therapist’s bio and considering reaching out for help is one of the more difficult aspects of taking care of yourself. I’m glad you’re here! I was born and raised in Oregon and have spent most of my time here in the Willamette Valley. I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing a variety of activities; hiking, camping, kayaking, baking, eating, trivia, crafting, and going to Renaissance Faires. I am LGBTQ+ allied, sex-work allied, and strive for equity and equality. Overall, I believe you know yourself and your being better than anyone else on this planet; sometimes it just takes a little bit of discovery.

Heather's Approach

I offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a mixture of Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with the goal of empowering each individual to live a full and meaningful life. I strive to be flexible and work with you as an individual person rather than “just another client” who is walking through my door.
