Hello! My name is Daria and I am a student intern currently working toward completing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Life can be amazing but also challenging. It can be difficult to make choices and achieve life goals with so much coming at us all the time. I enjoy listening to people and helping them cut through the noise so they can discover their voice and start living the life they want for themselves.
Daria's Approach
I believe every person is a unique creation with a meaningful purpose. I provide personal guidance and individualized multiculturally sensitive treatment in partnership with my clients on their journey to wellness. Clinically, I mainly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Narrative Therapy (NT).

Experience
I am a wife of thirty years and a mother of two adult children and one teenager. I have been a manager, executive and have had my own small business. My experience in providing clinical mental health support is in human development, motivational interviewing, group dynamics, crisis and grief management, trauma, multicultural counseling, advocacy and case management.
Education
I received my undergraduate degree from the City University of New York (CUNY). I will obtain a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell University. I am currently a Masters level Student Intern working on my direct clinical hours and I am expected to graduate in 2025.
