Professional Counselor Associate

Compassion is the most important thing we can give to ourselves and others. No one should feel alone in their pain and suffering. Letting go of how we think things should enable new possibilities to arise.

It is my greatest privilege to help you find your balance and become stronger, and more self-confident. To fortify your self-esteem and self-respect. I embrace a holistic approach to therapy that works with the mind, body, and creative spirit. As a registered art therapist, registered yoga instructor, somatic experience practitioner, and brain-spotting practitioner, I incorporate innovative techniques that traditional talk therapy might not be able to process.

Daina’s Approach

I am passionate about being of service to others and meeting my clients where they are to work as a team and accomplish their therapeutic goals. I work with individual clients, experiencing PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life adjustment through an existential-humanistic lens. My therapeutic approach is informed by training in art therapy, somatic experience, mindfulness, breathwork, and advanced training in yoga. Using these healing modalities together with psychotherapy, we can personalize your therapeutic needs to honor the mind, body, and spirit to gain a deeper awareness of the whole self.

Over the past decade, I have provided workshops and trainings focusing on the mind-body connection in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, assisted living, and yoga studios.
