Bree Anderson, QMHP

I’m Bree, and I’m a QMHP with the intention of becoming licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I’ve lived in Oregon for a little over 3 years and have a great appreciation for the natural beauty of Oregon. I especially love the trees, rain and beautiful coasts here. I’m also a single mom to an active 5 year old, and very much understand the struggles and joys of parenthood as a single parent. My favorite form of personal therapy is hiking and walking. I’m a fun-loving and humorous person who can also marvel at the mysteries of life.

Bree's Approach

I have an eclectic and flexible approach to therapy that is client-centered and strength based. This means I like to foster an environment of empathy and nonjudgement where the client is the expert on their own lives, and emphasizes the abilities and strengths of clients. My therapeutic focus has been with children and families. I believe that in working with and understanding children and families I’ve gained a greater understanding of people in general, and therefore this knowledge can also be applied to working with individuals of all ages. I enjoy being creative in therapy and collaborating with clients to find what works best for them.
