Emily Campos
LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor
I am Emily Campos, a Professional Licensed Counselor. While I grew up in the Bay Area, the Pacific Northwest has become my home over the years. I appreciate the unique balance of community and nature found here, and I strive to integrate both into my daily life. Whether it’s enjoying a hike outdoors, sharing a meal at a favorite restaurant with a friend, or relaxing with a good movie, I value the time I spend with loved ones. I am a wife and a mother to a wonderful daughter. Beyond my professional work, I am passionate about living a full life, achieving balance, and nurturing meaningful relationships.
Emily's Approach
Life rarely goes according to plan, and often we have faced great difficulty and hurt with little, to no support. Seeking out therapy to find healing and hope is courageous as you may be adjusting to a new normal, wanting to confront a painful past, or you are finding the strength to take life one day at a time. I believe in you and the process you will be embarking on. Taking time and space to invest in your mental health is well worth it.
I work from a Person-Centered lens and utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We are equals on your journey towards self-growth, discovering purpose, and finding meaning in day-to-day life. To encounter hardship, grief, uncertainty, disappointment, etc. are all conditions of being human. I want to create a safe and trusting space in which you can talk about what weighs heavily on you. You deserve to feel heard, seen and accepted. My hope is that through our sessions you will discover new meaning in your life, and the great gifts you possess as you are an expert on who you are and the life you desire.
