SITE SUPERVISOR/CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

At Arise Albany

JOB SUMMARY:

Arise Counseling Service, LLC is seeking a Site Supervisor at their Albany location. The Site supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to a team of mental health therapists and provides clinical services in an outpatient agency serving children, adolescents, families, individual adults, and couples. This is a full-time, overtime exempt salaried position requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday. Work hours varying between 8AM-5PM and 11AM- 8PM.


ABOUT ARISE COUNSELING SERVICE

Arise Counseling Service is a small, young, group practice for Counseling and Psychotherapy with locations in Eugene and Albany Oregon. We offer a broad spectrum of behavioral health care for children, individual adults, couples, and families. We are invested in supporting our clients in a professional, efficient, and compassionate way and want to make a difference in their lives and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the Arise clinical team in collaboration with the Director of Operations including overseeing scheduling staff work hours to assure appropriate coverage for all shifts; continuously evaluate the status of clients and do appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs.

• Provide regular clinical supervision to the clinical team, including individual and group supervision, supervision for licensure, performance evaluations and staff training. Furthermore, the Site Supervisor maintains accurate documentation of supervisory meetings and effectively supports, coaches, and manages assigned staff, and continuously support the wellness and development of the clinical team.

• Conduct performance reviews for all assigned staff. Establish work plans and priorities for all assigned staff, performance management, and take corrective action as needed. Identify, provide, and track professional development and training needs for all assigned staff. Schedule and maintain regular supervision check-ins with all assigned staff.

• Ensures the highest quality of behavioral health care and is responsible for consultation on patient cases and provides crisis intervention and consultation as needed.

• Provide direct counseling services (group, individual and family sessions). Maintains a case load that assures 20 weekly billable hours.

• Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, effective, or behavioral, within the context of individual health or marriage and family systems in an outpatient setting. Apply psycho-therapeutic and/or family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed nervous and mental disorders.

• Report weekly to the clinical Director regarding the clinical matter of the agency location.

• Assist the Clinical Director in hiring new clinician staff.

• Monitor the overall effectiveness, efficiency of agency site and services, and recommend changes that increase and maintain the highest level of quality. Partner with Clinical Director and Director of Operations to incorporate best practice standards and the flexibility to meet the changing needs of target populations and conduct ongoing assessments of program's needs.

• Participate in trainings and coordination meetings as requested by Clinical Director.

• Demonstrate ability to conduct assessments, knowledge, and skill in providing evidence-based treatment of mental health disorders.

• Assist Clinical Director in interviewing with candidates for employment and communicate/coordinate with Onboarding Coordinator when new clinicians are hired.

• Train new clinical staff in the Arise duties and operations.

• Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Arise Counseling Service, LLC as a supervisor, and clinician.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a Master degree in Counseling, Marriage and family therapy, Clinical Social work or related field, or Ph.D in Psychology.

• Must have an Unrestricted Oregon License in Social Work (LCSW), Professional Counseling (LPC) or Marriage and Family therapy (LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist. Licensed a minimum of 3 years.

• Must have completed five years of post-graduate direct clinical treatment experience in a mental health treatment setting (group, family, and individual therapy).

• Must have provided clinical supervision in outpatient mental health services for a minimum of 2 year to licensed clinicians and those seeking licensure.

• Must have a combination of clinical training and experience to meet the standards of the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers as a qualified clinical supervisor.

• Experience in coordinating care with a culture and trauma-informed perspective.

• At least two years' experience managing outpatient mental health setting (preferred).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to effectively work with standard office programs including Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint.

• Experience with working with an EHR.

• Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.

• Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner. High attention to detail required.

• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.

• Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently; be flexible and adapt well to different dynamics in a fast-paced work environment.

• Be willing to panel with insurance companies Arise is contracted with.

• Satisfactory results from criminal, civil and/or motor vehicle background check required.


Compensation

Salary between $68.000 and $76.000 a year depending on experience and qualifications

Yearly bonuses
