My professional background is to meet the client where they are, build a therapeutic relationship with acceptance in a

I strive to be authentic, compassionate to foster a genuine relationship where you feel respected, accepted, seen, and heard. We work together to establish goals, and to discover your unique journey. I respect the courage it takes to reach out to take the steps to live a joy-filled life by contacting me today.

Therapeutic Focus

The modalities I use depends on the needs of the client. My overriding goal to walk beside the client to help you identity your strengths, coping skills, and to overcome maladaptive thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. I use psychodynamic to discover where the client is stuck or to identify maladaptive coping strategies. I also utilize mindfulness-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to identify coping strategies that fit with who you are today and who you are striving to be in the future.

Experience

I have worked as a therapist in a variety of settings since 2017. I had the opportunity to provide therapy at a university, a free clinic, private practice, and a crisis center.
