Can I help you ?

I offer Psychotherapy and Counseling for individual adults and teenagers 13 years and up.

Psychotherapy and counseling can be helpful in a variety of issues. You can ask for my help if you have challenges in the the following areas:

I work with adults, adolescents, and children struggling with depressive disorders, anxiety

disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, and personality disorders.

Approach

I focus on a strong therapeutic alliance built on empathy, trust, and free from judgement. I believe in a client centered, holistic approach to see how different aspects of a client's life could be affecting their mental health. In each session I like to meet the client where the are, providing a safe space for them to explore their life to either find solutions collaboratively or learn acceptance.

Therapeutic Focus

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which teaches a client how to change their thinking patterns and behavioral patterns by better understanding their behaviors, emotions, and motivations. I teach coping skills that fit each client individually and focus on the here and now.

Experience

Prior to graduating from college, I spent 3 years working at Bridgeway Recovery Services. During graduate school I spent 9 months in my internship as a therapist at Western Oregon University. Most recently, I had been working for six months as a therapist at a counseling practice in Stayton before coming to Arise.

Formal Training and Education

I am currently working towards licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon intern number R6394. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2018 and my Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2020 from Western Oregon University.
