Approach

As a therapist, I am eternally grateful to be able to work with my clients on their journey as they develop insight, create change and identify goals. Life can bring up challenging and painful situations that make us feel lost or stuck, thus making it difficult to remember how to cope with life's changes. However, I truly believe that it is in our human nature to be resilient and pull those strengths from within with the right support. My goal is to support you and guide you with those necessary tools to live a healthy and happy life.

Therapeutic Focus

I enjoy taking a non-judgemental and collaborative approach to mental health. Modalities I draw from include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Strength-Based Approach  and Mindfulness. I often work with youth and their families.

Experience

I have over 7 years of experience in the field of mental health and have worked with various populations, including children, young adults and families with a variety of behavioral and emotional challenges. I specialize in delivering trauma and culturally informed individual and group therapy for Anxiety, Depression, ADD/ADHD, Family Dynamics, Foster Care/Adoption, Drug & Alcohol, Relational Issues, Grief & Loss, Attachment Disorders, MotivationalInterviewing, TI-CBT, Stress Related Issues, and Bullying.
