Joanna Ferreira LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
My name is Joanna Ferreira, and I am proud to be serving the community of Eugene and other parts of Oregon State, as a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Therapist, working remotely. I am a European American born in Poland with a bilingual and multicultural background, a Buddhist student and practitioner, dog person, avid reader, outdoors, nature, and art enthusiast. I like to run with my dog, read a good book, make art for fun, or simply do absolutely nothing in my free time.
I am trained – in and work using: EMDR therapy, MBSR, MBCT, DBT, IFS, Buddhist Psychology, Mindfulness Science, and Spiritual Resourcing. I believe that the role of a therapist is acting as a guide, healer, and change agent; however the journey of the therapy belongs to the client themselves.
My therapeutic focus is to serve populations primarily affected by stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, generational trauma or simply looking for personal growth.
