Arise Counseling Service is seeking two part-time or full-time Licensed Professional Counselor Registered Interns, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Interns or Clinical Social Worker Associates. (LPC-Intern, LMFT-Interns, CSWA’s).


About Arise Counseling Service

Arise Counseling Service is a small young group practice for Counseling and Psychotherapy with locations in Eugene and Albany Oregon, and we are looking to grow our team. We intent to offer a broad spectrum of behavioral health care for individuals, couples and families. We are invested in supporting our clients in a professional, efficient and compassionate way and want to make a difference in their lives and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities.

Job Summary:

Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, effective, or behavioral, within the context of individual health or marriage and family systems. Apply psycho-therapeutic and/or family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed nervous and mental disorders.


Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Master or Doctoral level degree in Counseling, Social work or Psychology.

• Candidates must be Board Registered Intern in the State of Oregon; LPC-I, or LMFT-I or CSWA, without restrictions.

• Candidates with relevant experience (face to face therapy) will have our preference over candidates with less experience or only case management.

• Candidates should have computer skills, and the ability to master electronic health record software.


Hours

We offer part-time or full-time positions. Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and Arise Counseling Service, LLC needs, and there is room for Clinician preferences and scheduling needs. Hours may include a weekend day and or an evening. The Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Therapist will be available to hold at least 12-16 (part-time), 20-28 (fulltime) patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Arise Counseling Service, LLC. Patient sessions are held in the offices of Arise Counseling Service, LLC. Arise also offers Telehealth services to clients. In Some cases, Telehealth services might be offered from the clinician’s home when appropriate.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform on-site clinical counseling services to patients of Arise Counseling Service, LLC, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.

2. Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.

3. Be properly board registered and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Arise Counseling Service, LLC.

4. Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Arise Counseling Service, LLC website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.

5. Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.

6. Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Arise Counseling Service, LLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion. Keep patient files accurate and up to date.

7. Attend Supervision and mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Arise Counseling Service, LLC.

8. Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Arise Counseling Service, LLC. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.

9. Other duties which may by assigned by Arise Counseling Service, LLC .

10. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.


What We Offer

Therapists are employees of Arise Counseling Service LLC. Compensation is based on fee for service productivity. Clinicians work their preferred number of hours, and are compensated at a rate based on amount billed. Starting percentage is 40% per appointment for the 90 day probation period, and 45% per appointment after that.

We offer Clinical Supervision for Registered interns, a combination of individual and group supervision.

Each employee receives a stipend for CEU’s and can earn CEU and Monetary incentives. Medical benefits and 401K to be added in 2021. Employment includes Professional Liability insurance. 

We provide therapists with clients and their initial scheduling, along with handling of all insurance related details (claims, billing, payments, etc.). At this point in time no additional benefits are available. We hope to offer more benefits in the near future.

Registered Interns will provide mental health services to Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) members.

Arise is Located in South Eugene and Albany in a beautiful and comfortable building. Therapists have a comfortable and beautifully designed office space, professional consultation, and opportunities for training.
